Hypercoat Enterprises was established in 1983, then as a trading division of Heli Orient (S) Pte Ltd. The division was then involved in the distribution of aircraft paint and spares. In 1985 this division was divested by the holding company and sold as an on-going business to the then Marketing Director. Mr. Dinesh R Patel is the majority shareholder and Managing Director of the newly registered company Hypercoat Enterprises Pte Ltd.
The Company continues the business of distributing aircraft parts and material. Its product range has been expanded to include:
- Aircraft systems spares for airframe, engine and avionics.
- Aircraft coatings and chemicals.
- Interior furnishing and refurbishing.
- Aircraft composites.
- Cargo, ground and workshop equipment.
In 1988 the Company set up Hansair Logistics in California, initially to coordinate transactions with our vendors in the USA. Hansair gradually evolved into a full-fledged distributor, servicing customers in USA. Jointly, Hypercoat and Hansair now represent more than 20 vendors from USA and Europe, serving customers worldwide through sales offices in USA, Singapore, Germany, South Africa, Chilli, Brazil, Australia, India, Malaysia and United Arab Emirates. From only eight employees in 1985, Hypercoat and Hansair have now close to 140 full-time employees world-wide.
